This article provides some key points related to the PgMP Application process.

The overall application process proceeds as follows.

First, once you are ready to submit the application and feel you meet all the requirements, one submits the application to the PMI. The application is then reviewed by PMI and goes through what’s called a panel review. The panel review process goes over three items. They first ensure that your application is complete and has included all requested information. Next, they ensure that you have the requisite experience in terms of number of years and hours managing large programs. In this context, it’s important that you understand the definition of the program as it’s different than projects. Your application must demonstrate that you have been working as a program manager for a minimum number of years. As PMI’s requirements related to this can change and it also varies depending on your educational background, you are encouraged to refer to the years and hours requirements in the PMI certification guide. You can find a link to that in this course. A candidate is normally expected to have that much of program management experience…
